Subd. 1. Administrative agency and standards.

1. (a) The elected officers retirement plan must be administered by the board of directors and the executive director of the Minnesota State Retirement System.
2. (b) The elected state officers retirement plan must be administered consistent with the applicable statutory provisions governing the plan and chapters 356 and 356A.
