Minn. Stat. § 299F.015
Subd. 1. Definitions.
For the purposes of this section, the following terms shall have the meanings given:
Subd. 2. Burner permitted.
Notwithstanding any contrary provision of sections 16B.59 to 16B.73 or 299F.011, or any rule adopted under those sections, the state fire marshal, the state building inspector, and political subdivisions may permit the installation and use of approved waste oil burners in gasoline service stations or commercial garages.
Subd. 3. Limitations.
No person shall burn any waste oil in an approved waste oil burner if the waste oil does not conform with the specifications contained in rules of the pollution control agency adopted under section 116.07.
