Subd. 1. Commission.

Members of the commission shall serve without compensation, but the actual and necessary expenses incurred by any member in the performance of its duties shall be reimbursed from the appropriations made for the support of the commission.

Subd. 2. Advisory committee.

Members of the legislative advisory committee shall be compensated and reimbursed for expenses in the same manner that members of legislative standing committees are compensated and reimbursed under section 3.101.
