Subd. 1.

There is hereby established an account within the special revenue fund of the state to be known as the "state elections campaign fund."

Subd. 2. Separate account.

Within the state elections campaign fund account there shall be maintained a separate political party account for the state committee and the candidates of each political party and a general account.
