Minn. Stat. § 10A.11
Subd. 1.
Every political committee shall have a chair and a treasurer. Nothing in this chapter shall prohibit them from being the same individual.
Subd. 2.
No contribution shall be accepted and no expenditure shall be made by or on behalf of a political committee at a time when there is a vacancy in the office of treasurer.
Subd. 3.
The treasurer of a political committee may appoint as many deputy treasurers as necessary and shall be responsible for their accounts.
Subd. 4.
The treasurer of a political committee may designate not more than two depositories in each county in which a campaign is conducted.
Subd. 5.
No funds of a political committee shall be commingled with any personal funds of officers, members or associates of the committee.

Any person who knowingly violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
