Subd. 2. Review of denial.
An applicant whose license application is denied may seek review of the denial by submitting a letter to the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board within 30 calendar days of receipt of the denial letter. Subd. 3. Appeal.
An applicant whose application for license or license renewal has been denied under subdivisions 1 and 2 may appeal the decision by filing a written request with the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board within 30 days of notice that the board has affirmed the denial of license. The board must then initiate a contested case under the Administrative Procedure Act, sections 14.001 to 14.69.
