Under section 169A.63, a motor vehicle is subject to forfeiture if a driver is convicted of a "designated offense," as defined in 169A.65, subdivision 1. Section 169A.63, subdivision 7, specifies limitations on vehicle forfeiture. Section 169A.63, subdivisions 8 and 9 , provide for administrative forfeiture procedure and judicial forfeiture procedure. Section 169A.63, subdivisions 10 and 11, provide for disposition of a forfeited vehicle.
