Subd. 1. Application.

The definitions in this section apply to this chapter.

Subd. 2. Commissioner.

"Commissioner" means the commissioner of children, families, and learning.

Subd. 3. Department.

"Department" means the department of children, families, and learning.

Subd. 4. Local grantee.

"Local grantee" means a local unit of government or an agency or organization that receives funds under section 119A.04.
