Minn. Stat. § 48.995
Subd. 1. Trust powers.
A bank that holds trust powers may conduct the activity through a host state branch provided it complies with section 303.25.
Subd. 2. Filing with secretary of state.
Notwithstanding section 303.03, the branch in a host state must operate under a certificate of authority filed with the Minnesota secretary of state.
Subd. 3. Definition.
For purposes of this section, "host state" means a state other than the home state, as defined in section 48.92.
