1. A. This chapter establishes guidelines for periodic inspections and annual maintenance of AEDs at grocery stores and restaurants.

2. B. This chapter does not apply to:

   1. (1) A grocery store that has an annual gross income of $10,000,000 or less in a calendar year; or

   2. (2) A restaurant with:

      1. (a) An annual gross income of $1,000,000 or less in a calendar year, exclusive of sales for off-premises consumption; or
      2. (b) A seating capacity of less than 100 individuals based on a fire marshal’s determination.
