Use of welded “clip-type” connectors as temporary fastening devices

  1. (a) A person may not use welded clip and seat type connections or other welded “clip-type” connectors as temporary fastening devices in construction that involves the use of structural iron or steel.
  2. (b) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $100 for each violation.
