NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY:

KRS 156.808(3)(j) requires the Kentucky Board of Education to promulgate administrative regulations, personnel policies and procedures for all certified and equivalent staff in the Office of Career and Technical Education, governing employee evaluations. KRS 156.828(1) requires the commissioner of education to adopt written evaluation procedures for all certified and equivalent employees. This administrative regulation establishes the requirements for employee evaluations for certified and equivalent employees working in the Office of Career and Technical Education.

1. Section 1. General Provisions.

   1. (1) Evaluations of certified and equivalent employees shall be conducted in accordance with the "Kentucky Tech Certified Evaluation Plan", revised annually, by the associate commissioner of the Office of Career and Technical Education.
   2. (2) Evaluations of certified and equivalent employees of the Office of Career and Technical Education shall be conducted in accordance with KRS 156.828 and the requirements of the Kentucky framework for personnel evaluations as set forth in 704 KAR 3:370..
