NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY:

KRS 150.195(1) authorizes the Kentucky

1. Section 1. Definition. "The Migratory Bird Harvest Information Program" means an online survey that a person completes prior to legally hunting waterfowl or migratory shore or upland game birds.

2. Section 2.

   1. (1) Prior to hunting waterfowl or migratory shore or upland game birds, a person shall obtain a Migratory Bird Harvest Information Program verification number by completing the Migratory Bird Harvest Information Program Survey on the department's Web site at fw.ky.gov.
   2. (2) A person shall possess the survey verification number established in subsection (1) of this section while hunting waterfowl or migratory shore and upland game birds.

3. Section 3. Incorporation by Reference.

   1. (1) The "Migratory Bird Harvest Information Program Survey" form, 2016 edition, is incorporated by reference.
   2. (2) This material may be inspected, copied, or obtained, subject to applicable copyright law, at the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, #1 Sportsman's Lane, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or at app.fw.ky.gov/myprofile/default.aspx?red=HipSurvey.
