- (a) An automated dispensing system shall be under the supervision of a pharmacist licensed in Kansas, who may be retained on a part-time basis and who shall be responsible for recordkeeping and storage of all drugs and verifying and documenting each prescription drug prepared or dispensed by such system.
- (b) The board shall adopt such rules and regulations relating to automated dispensing systems as necessary for proper control and operation.
- (c) This section shall be part of and supplemental to the pharmacy act of the state of Kansas.
