Any person making a claim for the United States savings bonds escheated to the state under K.S.A. 58-3979, and amendments thereto, or for the proceeds from such bonds, may file a claim in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 58-3934, et seq., and amendments thereto. Upon providing sufficient proof the validity of such person's claim, the administrator may pay such claim in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 58-3934 et seq., and amendments thereto.
