- (a) Witnesses attending a grand jury in response to a subpoena shall be allowed the same fees as are allowed witnesses in criminal cases in the district court.
- (b) Such witness fees shall be paid from the general fund of the county upon a certificate of attendance signed by the presiding juror of the grand jury.
