Sec. 1. (a) The commission shall utilize the staffing and resources of the department in carrying out the purposes and functions of this rule. The department shall institute those procedures and methodologies consistent with this rule in administering the application process.
(b) The department shall report to the commission, no less than quarterly, as to the status of all applications filed with the commission during the previous quarter, including applications received, awards granted, and denials of assistance for any reason.
