Sec. 1. (a) A public school must be accredited. A nonpublic school may seek accreditation.
(b) A school may be accredited by meeting the following criteria:
(2) Comply with the school improvement plan requirements of IC 20-31-5 [IC 20-31-5 repealed by P.L. 214-2025, SECTION 170, effective July 1, 2025.] by doing one (1) of the following:
(c) The board shall accredit a nonpublic school that:
(e) A school holding accreditation under the former performance-based accreditation system shall retain accreditation until the transition to the accreditation system described in this rule is complete.
