Sec. 1. Service providers in the early intervention system, and the service coordinator assigned to assist an eligible child and the child's family, have the responsibility to facilitate a smooth transition of a child and family participating in the early intervention system into, within, or from preschool services provided under Part B of the Act, or to any other environment or combination of environments determined to be appropriate for the child, prior to or at their third birthday.
