Sec. 121. (a) Caregivers shall have had training specifically related to infant/toddler development.
(b) Caregivers shall have means available to communicate with other staff and summon assistance without leaving children unattended.
(c) The director shall assign a primary caregiver for each infant and toddler.
(d) Caregivers shall interact with and address the needs of all children in their room.
(e) The staff person in charge of an infant/toddler group shall be at least eighteen (18) years of age and:
(1) meet CCDF qualified caregiver training requirements under section 35 of this rule; and
(2) if a caregiver less than twenty-one (21) years of age is left in charge of children less than twenty-four (24) months of age, the parents must be notified by posting a notice in a conspicuous place in or near the classroom where the children receive care.
