Sec. 1. A child receiving TANF assistance or the parent or caretaker relative of the child may continue to receive assistance if he or she is temporarily absent from the home. The temporary absence is limited to situations in which the child, parent, or caretaker is expected to return to the home by the end of the next payment period.
