Sec. 4. Medicaid shall not be interrupted for a child who has Medicaid as a recipient of temporary assistance for needy families (TANF) at the time of placement and is later found eligible for Medicaid as a recipient of Title IV-E payments. The Medicaid effective date for the child who is a nonrecipient of TANF at the time of placement shall be the same as the effective date of the Title IV-E award.
