Sec. 1. The purpose of this rule is to implement the long term care ombudsman program authorized by IC 12-10-13-17 and 42 U.S.C. 3058g which includes identifying, receiving, investigating, resolving, or attempting to resolve complaints and concerns regarding the health, safety, welfare, or rights of residents.
