Sec. 5. Licenses for radioactive materials are of two types: general and specific.
(a) General licenses provided in
410 IAC 5-3
are effective without the filing of applications with the board or the issuance of licensing documents to the particular persons, although the filing of a certificate with the board may be required by the particular general license. The general licensee is subject to all other applicable portions of
410 IAC 5
and any limitations of the general license.
(b) Specific licenses require the submission of an application to the board and the issuance of a licensing document by the board. The licensee is subject to all applicable portions of 410 IAC 5 as well as any limitations specified in the licensing document.
