Sec. 1. Local health officers may do the following:

1. (1) Enter upon and inspect private property, at proper times after due notice, in regard to the possible presence, source, and cause of an elevated blood lead level and lead hazards.
2. (2) Order what is reasonable and necessary to prevent an elevated blood lead level or remediate lead hazards.

Remediation shall be followed by clearance examination.
