Sec. 9. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this article, an individual may use dogs to chase a wild animal at any time.

(b) An individual who uses dogs to chase wild animals during a taking or hunting season for the species being chased must comply with the restrictions established in this article for the taking or hunting season.
