Sec. 3. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), a person may not:

1. (1) possess;
2. (2) sell;
3. (3) offer for sale;
4. (4) purchase;
5. (5) offer for purchase;
6. (6) ship;
7. (7) transport;
8. (8) deliver; or
9. (9) receive;

a wild animal. This section applies to any part of a wild animal.

(b) Subsection (a) does not apply to the following:

1. (1) A tanned hide.
2. (2) Any portion of a furbearing mammal, as defined by IC 14-8-2-108.
3. (3) Cured feathers.
4. (4) A squirrel tail.
5. (5) An untanned deer hide.
6. (6) Antlers.
7. (7) Hooves.
8. (8) Any part of a river otter.
9. (9) An untanned squirrel hide.
10. (10) Any part of a bobcat.
