Sec. 5. A person who performs an investigation or a scientific investigation under this article must demonstrate both of the following with respect to project facilities:

1. (1) Adequate facilities and equipment will be provided to conduct any nonfield portions of the plan in a manner which is no less effective than the requirements of 312 IAC 21-3-5.
2. (2) If the recovery of human remains is part of the plan, sufficient arrangements will be made for any special or technical analyses. These arrangements must include reference to paleopathology, osteology, radiometry, radiology, biochemistry, and any other discipline needed to properly evaluate the human remains relative to their cultural and chronological context and condition when recovered.
