1. (a) As used in this chapter, "electronic traffic ticket" means:

   1. (1) a traffic information and summons; or

   2. (2) a complaint and summons;

      for traffic cases that is in an electronic format prescribed by the office of judicial administration.

2. (b) An electronic traffic ticket may be referred to as an "e-citation".
