Ind. Code § 9-24-9-3
(a) Except as provided in section 4.1 of this chapter, the application of an individual less than eighteen (18) years of age for a permit or driver's license under this chapter must be signed and sworn to or affirmed by one (1) of the following in order of preference:
(b) The bureau shall require an individual signing an application under subsection (a) to present a valid form of identification in a manner prescribed by the bureau.
