Ind. Code § 9-24-16-1
The bureau shall issue an identification card in the form of a physical credential to an individual who meets the following conditions:
(3) Has presented valid documentary evidence to the bureau of the individual's lawful status in the United States or valid documentary evidence that the individual is granted parole, as required by section 3.5 of this chapter.
