Ind. Code § 9-21-11-12

Motorcycles; prohibitions on operation; conditions

A motor driven cycle may not be operated under any of the following conditions:

  1. (1) By an individual less than fifteen (15) years of age.
  2. (2) By an individual who does not have:

    1. (A) an unexpired identification card with a motor driven cycle endorsement issued to the individual by the bureau under IC 9-24-16 ;
    2. (B) a valid driver's license; or
    3. (C) a valid learner's permit.
  3. (3) On an interstate highway or a sidewalk.
  4. (4) At a speed greater than thirty-five (35) miles per hour.
  5. (5) The vehicle has not been registered as a motor driven cycle.
