1. (a) Subject to subsection (b), all traffic regulations and all rights and duties inured from the traffic regulations that apply to a person who drives or operates a motor vehicle apply to a person who operates a motorcycle or motor driven cycle except the following:

   1. (1) Regulations that expressly do not apply to motorcycles or motor driven cycles.
   2. (2) Regulations that by their nature have no application.

2. (b) IC 9-21-3-7 (b)(3)(D) applies to the operation of a motorcycle.
