1. (a) The bureau shall design and issue an Indiana firefighter license plate as a special group recognition license plate under IC 9-18.5-12 .

2. (b) The bureau shall confer with representatives of the Professional Firefighters Union of Indiana and the Indiana Firefighters Association concerning the design of the license plate.
