As used in this chapter, "mechanized equipment" means equipment operated by means of mechanical power, including:

1. (1) trenchers;
2. (2) bulldozers;
3. (3) power shovels;
4. (4) augers;
5. (5) backhoes;
6. (6) scrapers;
7. (7) drills;
8. (8) cable and pipe plows;
9. (9) hydraulic excavators; and
10. (10) other equipment that may cause damage to underground facilities.
