Ind. Code § 5-11-1-15 – Bonds and crime policies for faithful performance

(a) The state examiner, deputy examiners, and field examiners shall each give bond for the faithful performance of the examiner's duties in an amount determined by the audit committee and based on applicable risk considerations. However, field examiners may be covered by a blanket bond or crime insurance policy endorsed to include faithful performance under IC 5-4-1-15.1 subject to approval of the audit committee and state examiner.
(b) The commissioner of insurance shall prescribe the form of the bonds or crime policies required by this section.
