1. (a) This section applies to an individual who:

   1. (1) on July 1, 2013, is a member or a full-time employee of the commission; or
   2. (2) after June 30, 2013, becomes employed or reemployed as a member or a full-time employee of the commission.

2. (b) After June 30, 2013, a member or an employee of the commission:

   1. (1) is eligible for;
   2. (2) must participate in; and

   3. (3) receives the benefits of;

      the public employees' retirement fund under IC 5-10.2 and IC 5-10.3 .
