Ind. Code § 4-30-13-1

Violation; infraction or misdemeanor

  1. (a) A person who knowingly:

    1. (1) sells a lottery ticket and is not authorized by the commission or this article to engage in such a sale; or
    2. (2) sells a lottery ticket at a price other than that established by the commission;

      commits a Class A misdemeanor.

  2. (b) A person who knowingly sells a lottery ticket to a minor commits a Class C infraction. However, the violation is a Class A misdemeanor if the person has a prior unrelated adjudication or conviction for a violation of this section within the previous five (5) years.
