1. (a) This chapter does not apply to any interview, interrogation, or other proceeding that is part of an investigation of criminal charges against a firefighter.
2. (b) This chapter does not apply to any interview, interrogation, or other interaction that is part of an investigation of a firefighter's conduct, including an interview or investigation to which IC 36-8-2.1 applies.
