Ind. Code § 36-8-15-1 – Application of chapter

This chapter applies to the following counties:

(1) A county having a consolidated city.
(2) A county having a population of more than two hundred thousand (200,000) and less than two hundred fifty thousand (250,000).
(3) A county that adopts an ordinance providing for the county to be governed by this chapter.
However, sections 9.5, 15, 16, 17, and 18 of this chapter apply only to a county having a consolidated city.
