If the legislative body of a city has adopted an ordinance to establish an economic enhancement district under this chapter before March 15, 2024 (the effective date of P.L.169-2024), that ordinance shall be void, but may be revised and reenacted by the legislative body of the city by the adoption of a new ordinance under section 4 of this chapter, which must comply with the provisions of this chapter as amended by P.L.169-2024.
