A person who, with the intent to obtain money, property, or another benefit, knowingly or intentionally:

1. (1) fraudulently represents himself or herself to be an active member or veteran of:

   1. (A) the United States Air Force;
   2. (B) the United States Army;
   3. (C) the United States Coast Guard;
   4. (D) the United States Marines;
   5. (E) the United States National Guard;
   6. (F) the United States Navy; or
   7. (G) a reserve component of the armed forces of the United States;
2. (2) uses a falsified military identification; or

3. (3) fraudulently represents himself or herself to be a recipient of the:

   1. (A) Congressional Medal of Honor;
   2. (B) Distinguished Service Cross;
   3. (C) Navy Cross;
   4. (D) Air Force Cross;
   5. (E) Silver Star;
   6. (F) Purple Heart;
   7. (G) Combat Infantryman Badge;
   8. (H) Combat Action Badge;
   9. (I) Combat Medical Badge;
   10. (J) Combat Action Ribbon; or

   11. (K) Air Force Combat Action Medal;

       commits stolen valor, a Class A misdemeanor.
