Ind. Code § 35-42-1-6.5 – Application of certain sections of the chapter

(a) The following sections of this chapter do not apply to an abortion performed in compliance with IC 16-34-2 :
1. (1) Section 1 (murder).
2. (2) Section 3 (voluntary manslaughter).
3. (3) Section 4 (involuntary manslaughter).
4. (4) Section 6 (feticide).
(b) The following sections of this chapter do not apply to a pregnant woman who terminates her own pregnancy or kills a fetus that she is carrying:
1. (1) Section 1 (murder).
2. (2) Section 3 (voluntary manslaughter).
3. (3) Section 4 (involuntary manslaughter).
4. (4) Section 6 (feticide).
