Accepting drafts for future payment; issuing letters of credit

A savings bank may accept for future payment drafts drawn upon the savings bank by its customers and may issue letters of credit with a specific expiration date authorizing the holders of the letters to draw drafts upon the savings bank or its correspondents at sight or on time.
