"Savings bank" means any of the following:

1. (1) A financial institution organized, reorganized, or operating under IC 28-6 (before its repeal) before January 1, 1993.
2. (2) A financial institution formed as the result of a conversion under IC 28-1-21.7 , IC 28-1-21.8 , or IC 28-1-21.9 .
3. (3) A stock savings bank incorporated under IC 28-12 .
