In addition to any other penalties for violations of IC 27 , the commissioner may take either or both of the following actions:

1. (1) Require issuers violating this chapter or rules adopted under this chapter to cease marketing a Medicare supplement policy or certificate in Indiana that is related directly or indirectly to a violation.
2. (2) Require the issuer to take the action necessary to comply with this chapter.
