Effective 1-1-2026.

1. (b) This chapter does not apply to the following:

   1. (1) Medicaid or a managed care organization (as defined in IC 12-7-2-126.9 ).
   2. (2) Except as provided in section 18 of this chapter, a state employee health plan (as defined in IC 5-10-8-6.7 ).

Sec. 1. (a) This chapter applies to a policy or contract that is issued, delivered, entered into, renewed, or amended after December 31, 2025.
