1. (a) After considering the committee's proposed rules, the board shall adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 establishing standards for the following:

   1. (1) The competent practice of physician assistants.
   2. (2) The renewal of licenses issued under this article.
   3. (3) Standards for the administration of this article.
2. (b) After considering the committee's recommendations for fees, the board shall establish fees under IC 25-1-8-2 .
3. (c) Before January 1, 2022, the board shall adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 that are required under this article.
