1. (a) As used in this chapter, "prescription drug" means a drug, as defined in IC 25-26-13-2 , that requires a prescription before being dispensed or administered to a patient.

2. (b) The term does not include:

   1. (1) an abortion inducing drug (as defined in IC 16-18-2-1.6 ); or
   2. (2) controlled substances (as defined in IC 35-48-1.1-7 ).
