Ind. Code § 25-23-1-1.2
As used in this chapter, "licensed practical nurse" means a person who holds a valid license issued under this chapter or by a party state (as defined in IC 25-23.3-2-11 ) and who functions at the direction of:
(6) a licensed podiatrist;
in the performance of activities commonly performed by practical nurses and requiring special knowledge or skill.
